We are well into the tree sale now, and we are so thankful for all you are doing! Between a Black Friday Chiefs game and a Saturday snow storm, it was not our typical Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you to everyone who has worked outside and inside, and brought meals and snacks. A special thanks to people who have answered the last minute SOS calls in the GroupMe. The Scouts have been doing such a great job.

A huge thank you to the people that helped over the last few days… setting up the sales room Saturday morning, unloading the truck Saturday afternoon, staking trees and hanging lights on Sunday, and unloading the truck yesterday in the rain! We are off to a great start!

Just a reminder that we need all hands on deck for the tree sale. Please take a look at the shift sign up and see if there are additional shifts you can cover, especially in the opening weekend and Black Friday weekend. 

Please use the link below to sign up for shifts. We are asking that each family sign up for six outside shifts and three inside shifts. You are, of course, welcome to do more! We know this is a busy time of year, and we appreciate your participation in our sale.

The committee met last night. Here is a summary of what was discussed and upcoming events.

The September camp out will be Sept. 27-29 (not Sept. 13-15). It will be at the Cedar Cove Conservation and Education Center in Louisburg.
