Hello Troop 199 families!

The committee met last night. Here is a summary of what was discussed and upcoming events.

The September camp out will be Sept. 27-29 (not Sept. 13-15). It will be at the Cedar Cove Conservation and Education Center in Louisburg.

Tree lot updates

• We are taking a slightly different approach this year, and will manage the annual fundraiser by committee. We need all parents to attend a meeting Sept. 9 at 7 pm where we will discuss the different jobs and sign up for tasks. This is an All-Hands-On-Deck situation, so we really need everyone to attend and participate. 

Boundary Waters High Adventure

Planning is underway for the July 20-28 trip. Scott Grummert will serve as the trip leader. Look for communication about a meeting soon. Scouts will need to practice map and compass reading to be ready. 

Rank advancement /Bartle parent meeting

May 6- regular meeting with rank advancements handed out, followed by meeting for parents of Scouts going to Bartle.

Wanted: tree lot coordinator

We are still looking for a volunteer to take over as tree lot coordinator. The Fines are willing to assist in the transition. If you have questions, please reach out and a committee member will be happy to discuss the position with you.
